Guest guest
Have you tried the mineral cosmetics? They mention on their ads that many people mix in a few with a moisturizer and apply that way ... just a thought in the name of simplicity ... -

It would help if you posted the ingredient list. If your lotion isn't moisturizing enough, I would add or increase the humectants in your formula. Glycerin is a popular hucmectant. > Should I switch to cream formula? Increasing the oil phase or increasing the viscosity of your oil phase will make your product thicker and more opaque. It will also incease the emmoliency of your cream/lotion which would help moisturize the skin. > I use the lotion as >is for my moisturizer (I make a no color, no color version) now and like it >but these improvements would be welcome. And which ingredients -- natural I'm >hoping -- will give coverage and even out skin tone a bit? When you say that you want to get coverage and want to even out the skin tone, I think of adding pigments and lakes. I believe their are some vendors that sell cosmetic lakes to homecrafters. You may have a problem getting the lakes milled and dispersed. Maurice -------------------------------------------------------- Maurice O.
