They PAID someone to study this?? lol We could have told them this bit

New research suggests that surgery patients who get cold run a higher risk of post-op infections.

A drop in body temperature can affect blood clotting and other activities. Stanford Dr. said

" when your cold, infection fighting white blood cells don't work efficiently." They suggest using a warm blanket system. The " Bair Hugger" is available at most hospitals for roughly $10. per operation.

Also - here's a news story that will crack up the women in our group. "Mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming " were found to be " most tiring of household chores." This *enlightening* study was done and paid for by Cornell University. Barb
