I use Splenda in my oatmeal and also my hot tea. There is a fairly new soft

drink put out by RC Cola/Diet Rite Cola which I find very refreshing. It is

called " White Grape " and has Splenda for the sweetener.

I buy the Snackwell's Sugar-Free cookies. I do not have to eat all of the

cookie at one time. One cookie can last me all day.

Giving up sweets wasn't hard for me to do.

It is my understanding <grin> that anything ending in 'ose' is some form of

sugar. So I'm not sure.

Dear list,

I don't want to sound like I'm ungreatful for all

your comments; but I really think we should get back

to our purpose.  Discussing new diabetes treatments,

helping the newbies and support.

My husband's sister was just telling me about a

diabetic med that is supposed to be really great!

However, he forgot the name.  Do we have anyone on any

med that is really new??

Also, has anyone tried any new so-called sugar-free

products??  I just bought some of Ames new

" Clean'n'Natural Kiwi Strawberry soda.  It has zero

calories, o fat, o sodium, o carbs, o sugars and o

protein.  It tastes quite good.  I've been drinking

Sam's sparkling water, but this is even cheaper 50

cents and thats the regular price.

I'm not a chemist so I'm skeptical about the

ingredients: I get carbonated water, citric acid,

natural flavor, but sucralose and acesulfame potassium

make me wonder!!! Any chemists out there??????
