Guest guest
Hi, Yesterday I tried a different technique. After reading through lots of posts on the adrenal group I decided to try some bedtime HC cream. Before I got in bed I took 0.05 grams of 1% HC cream (rubbed onto my hands). After a few minutes I heard my husband snore and I felt adrenalin shots. I got up and used another 0.05 grams of HC cream. This time after a few minutes I could tell that the adrenalin shots were less intense. I got up again and used 0.1 grams (for a total of 0.2 grams which is 2 mg of HC). This time after a few minutes I heard the snoring but instead of causing the adrenalin shots, the snoring was just noise (and it was no longer bothering me). I fell asleep and slept through to 6:30 am. I had to question my husband to find out if he left the room because I slept so well and he said that he was there all night. My fan was on low next to the bed instead of on high at the head of my bed. I am so happy that maybe I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel regarding my adrenalin shots and sleep issues. Tonight I am going to use 0.2 grams of HC cream before bed and hope for the best again. I did not use any supplemental melatonin last night just in case it was decreasing my nighttime cortisone. Guest guest
> >Kathy, That is great! Now let's see if you can reproduce that tonight. And if you do, let me know, because I will be popping the HC pills before bed. I've thought about HC being an issue, but since both high AND low cortisol can cause it, I wasn't sure which it was and if it was due to high cortisol, I didn't want to add more orally.
