Guest guest
I hope I haven't lost count..lol I just got off the phone with her she is doing ok, she is a little impatient cause she isn't feeling too good and it hurts and she doesn't like be sleepy all the time but I tried to let her know its all going to work out, just hang in there and let your body recoup some. She is still having some problems with urine out put, they have put like 4 bags of fluids in her and she isn't putting out much so they gave her water pill and that seemed to work last night but this morning wasn't good so they gave her another one, her bladder doesn't want to wake up, which is causing her pain, her tummy is swollen full of water, she has some gas build up but the water in her is over taking it. I asked when the last time she had surgery she said 8 yrs ago and asked how much weight she has put on since then she says a lot, well I told her, your body is defiantly traumatized by this and its going to be a little while longer before it starts feeling better. She does need to get up moving around more. But I know she will do what is good for her. The more she moves around the better she will be. She has the catheter still, her oxygen and her gown wide open (woooowooo. Sexy Joan) so I mentioned just pacing in her room. She is going to do good. Just takes time. We all have to remember (pre-0ps) our bodies are not like fruit of a loom underwear, we just don't snap back wash after wash, what we have done and the medication takes time. So even though your mind might be wanting to do something remember listen to your body, its a whole new way of life. We know longer listen to our heads, its our tummies we listen too know!!!
