Hi All, Just letting you know that I have the internet back ( now running at ADSL2+ and leaving the blackberry connection long behind me) This means I will actually be able to work on the website again so will be sending out updates on sections for your feedback over the weekend. I logged on the forum and noticed spam…. I have removed it all and banned the users. But it has resulted in a few minor changes Registering to the website will now require you to answer a more difficult CAPTCHA (an example below) It is also now case sensitive. I know this is an annoying step for users to do when they first register on the site but hopefully this will reduce the amount of spam the forum gets. Later I will also introduce a min 5 posts before you can put a url in your posts. This will stop spammers , black hat affiliate marketers etc etc. Over the weekend I will tweak the registration screens ( right now they are the default build that comes out of PHPBB3 ) and will send out an email seeking your feedback. I will put a draft together for the ABOUT section so if you have any ideas please let us know. Also I will be working on the resource section, in particular seeking articles, quality websites, news reports etc etc, so if you have seen any that you think would look good on the site drop us an email or post it here: http://www.soundsensitivity.info/Forum/viewforum.php?f=13 in any of the sub forums.
