NCC (sort of)/ this last week...

Hello everyone~

I hope your week has gone better than mine!! i dont know how it could

get much worse. last weekend my family and i went up to the gunflint

trail in northern minnesota. on sunday we rented a canoe and went into

the boundry waters. while we were there a tornado came. we hid by a

tree that already fell but all the trees were falling all around us. it

was very scary!! it took us 6 hours to get back to our cabin (that was

about 10 miles away) because the road was blocked. that was quite an

experience.

well yesterday my friend and i were out riding 4-wheeler. she was on

her own behind me. we were out on some gravel roads. i hit some loose

gravel so i started to slow down but then i hit a clump of dirt or

something and i went down into the ditch. some how i got thrown off the

4-wheeler and i landed on my head/back and rolled forward. i jumped

right up because i was afraid i would be unconsious. my friend stopped

and ran down my me. my helment had fallen off but when i landed i must

of had it on. the four wheeler landed about 10-15 rows out in the corn

field. one of my shoes was by the 4-wheeler and we didnt find the other

one. my friend drove the 4-wheeler up on the road and i told her that i

could drive it back to town. she didnt want me to but i did anyway. my

head hurt really bad and i couldnt turn my head. when i got back my dad

put a brace on my neck and put me on a back board. they took me by

ambulance to the hospital that i had my surgery at. they did alot of

x-rays and a CT scan. everything looked alright so they sent me home.

im really sore and have a really big bruise on my leg. other than that

im ok. i have alot of bruises and cuts from the tornado too. it just

hasnt been a good week. well this is getting long so im gonna go. talk
