Geodon?

Ok, I'm ready to talk the specifics of how best to reduce my son's

Geodon, and would really apprciate any input, advice and experiences

in the matter.

My son takes 40 mgs of Geodon at night. Right now we get samples

from his doctor that are 80 mgs capsules. I open them and split them

and put half into empty capsules that I have purchased, so he is

getting about 40 mgs a night.

If I take the 80 mgs capsules and split them into 3 capsules (rather

than just two) that should be around 26.67 mgs each, realizing that I

cannot divide these things precisely.

I realize that is more than a 10% reduction, but do you think this

might be ok??? and if he is ok doing it this way - I mean if he/we

notice no difference in him, then do this for a good 2 weeks, and

then reduce again?
