Guest guest
I occasionally get heartburn, but it's never been a significant problem for more than a couple of days. I normally eat before 6 PM, if I eat after 7:00 PM, it's probably going to be a problem. Guest guest
Before I was diagnosed with PSC (for about a year) I suffered from chronic heartburn & occasional indigestion. These symptoms eventually drove me to the doctor and eventually more PSC-like symptoms emerged and the diagnosis followed. I the meantime I was prescribed a few different meds for the heartburn - the most successful of these was Prevacid (a proton pump inhibitor) which I am still on. Good luck. Guest guest
I am wondering.....my dad had heart problem because his arteries were sclerosing......my brother had blockages in his leg arteries because they were sclerosed, same with is coroted (sp) arteries and the arteries near his kidneys.........I had UC which had many sclerosed areas and now PSC with sclerosed bile ducts. Maybe the heartburn is caused by the food pipe constricting from time to time.......hey Aubrey??? or any medical professional, what do ya think? ===== in Michigan (Dx UC 1984, Dx MISSING COLON 1999, Dx PSC 1997, PSC symptoms 2000)

Guest guest
I have suffered with heartburn for the last 3 or 4 yrs. Eating Rolaids like there was no tomorrow. Then the fatigue set in. Still didn't know what was causing it. I just thought I was working too hard. Since I have been taking the Urso, I have heartburn for just a minute, and it goes away. I never contributed the Urso to helping until I had my ERCP and pancreatitis. They took me off the Urso for a couple of weeks, and I started have the heartburn all day again. It wasn't until I went back on the Urso, that I realized it may be helping the heartburn. I don't know whether anyone else has experienced this. I have an 'open order' for Pepcid and it works great for me. 42 Maine UC73 PSC91
