Hi Jackie,

Welcome! I want you to know that I'm jealous! Only 15 staples and a 4-1/2

inch incision! I had my in 1997 and they opened me up breast bone to belly

button and an I looked like I had a railroad track down my middle! Yes, I

am jealous. *LOL* Let know how much you loose. It's always fun to hear.

~I am still here! Just reading along. You said something the other day about boring us with the details of your dh... and I want you to know that you are not boring me at all - I look for that info each day because I want to know how he is doing. Y'all are in my prayers!

I'm going back to the neuro. on Monday. Yippee. Can't wait. LOL.

Hello All

I hope that everyone is doing alright lately, I try to keep up with the emails but I don't often get the chance to respond to them. I read over all the posts of the last week and I had to laugh as I learned about everything from pneumonia (Auntie n) to green gravy and people say we have no variety in our lives..

I, being the clutz that I am, slipped the other night in a patch of water and oil outside in the driveway when I took a bag of garbage out. Unfortunately, I tried to flap my arms and fly but it didn't work and I went BOOM. I took a trip to the ER that night and now I'm sporting an immobilizer and was told to stay off my feet as much as possible. How exactly do I accomplish that? I have an appt. with an orthopedic surgeon next week to see just how much damage I did to it. The ER doc said it was a torn ligament under the patella. Well at least when I go out to do something, I do it all the way LOL.

I wonder where some of our family has been, Rosemary? Anita? ? ? Bill? Lila? Everyone else?

Take care

I don’t know what a patella is, but I think it is in the leg, so that is not good.

Love to you and your family. Hoping that all will improve and you can get Jerry home again as soon as possible.
