Guest guest
Peg, The transplant Dr. that I went to said that Frequent Cholangitis infections will NOT get me listed. I believe that I'm in the beginnings of another one right now. Let's hope not. The good news is, the Transplant Dr. seemed very discouraging about me getting a transplant from a cadaver, but he said that I should really consider looking into a " Living Donor " . Last night, when I came home from work, my Father told me that a co-worker of his has offered to give me part of their liver. His blood type is B+ and so is mine. I go back to see the transplant Dr. in two months, so I will bring this up to him then. The transplant Dr. also put me on Prenatal vitamins. I'm not pregnant, but he said the vitamins in the pills would help me. It's too early to tell what effect they will have in the long run, but after being on them for two days, I can see an increase in energy, and I didn't have to take the Caffiene pills last night at work. I can't tell if the Vitamins did it for me, or if I was just having a good day. Hopefully Phil will be listed, it's one step closer to getting a transplant. I thank God for sending the very kind man, who's willing to give a part of his liver. Let's hope that he's a perfect match in all other areas as well. No one in my family has stepped foward to even offer. Love,

Guest guest
, I sense the sadness in your message. Just know that even when circumstances do not go as your heart desires, that the Lord still has a deep and abiding love for you and in His sovereignty this is His plan. Let yourself run through the emotions always remembering that you are in our prayers. The Lord is the greatest friend we have. Just crawl into His loving arms and let Him minister to you. You have such a tender heart and we all on the group appreciate the work you do to make this group possible. I'll be praying for you. Guest guest
, You've been an "angel" to all of us by starting this list and continuing to be "listmom". You need an angel yourself. I'm so happy you've got one in your corner right now. Good luck with the living donor option. Go for it!!
