Guest guest
Devin - I wrote to you a while back about my son's liver detox problem. This question is related to that. I know that his glutathione stores are low and we tried supplementing them with a whey protein product. At first, it helped him tremendously. His color improved and he was so happy and energetic. Then the improvements just went away. I was reading a post on the GFCF board about cysteine helping with sulfation and I know whey protein is a good way to get that. We never had any success with glutathione supplements. I thought about trying the whey again, but using it with the enzymes. But then a while back I saw a post from a physician who said that sometimes whey protein is ineffective because a person can have too strong of a digestive system and that it would break it down too much. What are your thoughts? I'm wondering if the reason that the whey supplement stopped working was that he developed a sensitivity to it (which has always been the case). I hope you are able to follow my rambling question!! Thanks in advance, Celia
