Guest guest
Hey Everyone! Has anyone ever heard about salicylate sensitivity or the Feingold diet? Has anyone tried it? Apparently sensitivity to this chemical (?) that is found naturally in many foods is linked to ADD, hyperactivity, sense sensitivities, irritability, allergies and a bunch of other symptoms. Here's one website about it, if anyone is interested: http://salicylatesensitivity.com/ Unfortunately many " healthy " foods are high in salicylate. Not a very appealing diet since most of my staples are high on the list of foods to eliminate (including corn and chile peppers--unavoidable in Mexico!), but I am at least curious about it. Take care! Cate
