Guest guest
Hello everyoneHere is an update on my chiropractic treatment. I’m at 2 ½ weeks of 3x a week treatment and I am feeling a positive difference. I’ve had 2 bad days, one at about a 7 (10 being the worst) and a 6 another time. Both times fortunately occurred when I already had a scheduled appointment. The doctor asked me to check to see if the bad days started to decrease in intensity, vs frequency. They have. On the worst day, within about 15 min to an hour, the sensitivity had decreased extensively. The big test was Halloween night, I went to the live production of Rocky Horror Show. I did use my ear plugs but the only time I felt my stress level rise was with the applause at the end of the show. It was just too loud even with earplugs. So I was able to enjoy the show and not feel the anxiety rise right away. I’ve seen some discussion about medication. I am taking anti-depressant, switching from effexor to pristiq. I know that my sound sensitivity sky rocketed once I started anti-depressants but I think this (I know this) is because the anxiety & PTSD was being tackled which allowed my body to return to doing the normal things it does which included having very sensitive hearing. Will keep everyone updated if there is still an interest
