I have always wondered if I was crazy because of my reaction to different noises. Finding others who are dealing with the same problems makes me feel not so alone. When I hear the noises that bother me I feel like I'm going to go into a rage. I have a 12 yr old son who is very understanding and tries his best to avoid making the sounds that bother me. He is my hero just for trying to understand what's going on with me when no one else will even try. My husband thinks that I'm making a big deal out of nothing and will make the sounds on purpose in fact today when I found this group and some other sites I ran to tell him that there is a name for what I'm dealing with. As I read off the sounds that where listed as common triggers to him he mad the noises for each until I gave up almost in tears. I'm hoping just being able to talk to others who understand will be almost lie a form of therapy for me. I'll end this with a question. There is a Mcs commercial that has been on TV a lot lately.
