For Davia and others looking for help for vision problems,

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mazer. He was originally recommended

to me for my son by his OT back in 1990. I have over the years

recommended various people to him. I fully trust his judgement as I

have sent people to him that he has not recommended vision therapy

for. Last year when I asked him about a friend's daughter with a rare

eye disorder, he said she that she should go to an opthalmologist,

not an optometrist. My own son just had a re-eval after about 18

months of VT. He said that at most he will need to see him through

the summer. I have seen such an improvement in my son's reading and

more legible handwritng. I was prepared to continue indefinitely if

need be. I have a lot of confidence in Dr. Mazer and would trust that

VT is necessary for your typical child if he is the one recommending

it.
