I buy it by the bag at Wal-mart, are there Wal-mart's in Canada? Also, I

have been looking into perhaps getting it by the bulk through a healthfood

store or Herbalist? Becca

Hello everyone:

Alice is into her second week on Pep. It was a bit haphazard due to

my flu last week, but she had 1/2 a capsule once a day at first. It

took her about 3 days to notice the taste and begin not finishing

drinks or food. This week, she'll swallowing (with no trouble) a

capsule with one meal per day. I plan to add one capsule to an

additional meal next week, then introduce the Zyme Prime. She wet

like crazy for the first week, but this seems to have tapered off.

Last night we were startled to see her wolf down her steak with no

encouragement! Sorry, Amber :-/

I guess Alice does do verbal stimming -- I just never thought of it

that way! It's a high pitch " Dee-dee-dee-dee! " She sounds very

excited and happy, usually while she's tearing up and down the

hallway, so it's never troubled me! I also didn't think much of it

because I did the same thing (without the " dee-dee-dee " ) well into my

twenties! Okay, so I was odd! (*Was*???) She also leaps up and

down, also when excited and happy (we have a borrowed mini-tramp in

the study to catch some of the bouncing), and grinds her teeth. We

thought that had lessened since we started her on Efalex, but it's

back, possibly due to the new school schedule.

My question (and I do have one): I'm in Canada and so far have only

been able to locate generic Epsom Salt at my local drug store at

$2.99 for 225 gr. (roughly one cup). If I'm to put 1 to 2 cups in

Alice's bath, this is going to get pricey! Any suggestions? I'm

assuming (always a mistake!) that TMG and DMG are magnesium in some

form. Definitions, please? Sorry to be such a dunce! <:-)

Yea on the improvements!

The wetting is common and it is right on schedule for it to be

tapering off. I buy a half gallon of epsom salts for $1.50 at my

local grocer in Iowa. That sounds incredibly high. Doesn't a grocery

store carry any? I usually find it in the section for foot aids, band-

aids, and stuff like that.

TMG and DMG are not magnesium but I don't know what they do stand

for. They often help with language.

You can look up what the letters TMG and DMG stand for on the Kirkman

site.

I do not know if all DMG/TMG is made from this, but I have heard that

some of it is a form of beet sugar. My kids were sooooooo sick on TMG

that I almost had to take one of them to the hospital. So if you are

just starting with it, start with very low dose and work up.
