I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I joined WW for the first time 2/94,

so that I could lose weight to fit into a slimmer wedding gown. Got married

12/94 - and in 10 months went from 176 to 154 - 22 pounds in 10 months.

After the honeymoon - I never went back. The thing is that I KNEW that

Weight Watchers worked!!

So married now for 7 years and 2 kids later (Olivia 3 1/2 years and Georgia

Kate, who is turning 1 this Saturday) - I decided to join Weight Watchers

again!! I'm so amazed at how easy the point system is (instead of the old

way). Also by calculating points, if I want a fast food or a yummy dessert -

I can eat it if I figure it into by daily points - the old WW plan - I felt

denied of certain foods.

Anyway I joined 10/1/01 weighing 188; made 10% at Thanksgiving 170; currently

am at 159 (total weight loss 29lbs) I have my goal weight set for 150 (which

is even lower than I as at my wedding)- but as I get closer to it - I'm

wondering if I really want that now for my goal weight; I'm thinking that

maybe I want to weight even less than that. It's just that I haven't weighed

150lb in probably 10 years (I'm 31 yrs old) and I can't imagine weighing less

than that?

How do you know what weight you can really maintain??

Thanks and looking forward to reading other WW posts

Marti
