igg soy and lipo-glut question

My son showed an igg 2* (= .312) to soybean on the alletess panel last august.

I have been avoiding soy since august - meaning that it's not been in anything I

gave him knowingly, but he does eat 1x a week macdonalds french fries and

occasional hot dogs/frenchfries/eggs at restaurants (probably soy based oil) and

maybe 1x a month chocolate chips with soy lecithin. He has no easily visible

reaction to this occasional soy...

Anyway, would you recommend lipo-glut for him (soy base)?

Re: Klaire Vital-Zymes Questions

Since the IgG values are hypersensitivity and not true allergies,

they change constantly. Any high IgG should be followed by

removal for a few weeks, then introducing 1X/wk, then twice

weekly, etc. to ascertain continued sensitivity. Usually after

several months, these things can be used but not every day,

except for casein/milk/gluten/soy etc. I would think unless a

child had IgE to egg (true allergies) it would not be a problem,

and I have many kids on this without problem. I did forward

your question to Ilene for further clarification. Dr. JM
