Guest guest
Sorry, I posted this earlier and didn't change the subject line. Dawn Dwight, Regarding the vegetarian diet that Dr. palmer puts her patients on, she stated that when her patients are experiencing extreme encelopathy that is when she puts them on a vegetarian diet. It has something to do with a build up of ammonia in your bloodstream. Hope this clarifies this for you. With all the pain that accompanies this condition It has to come from somewhere. II think it is the bile ducts that give the pain. I was diagnosed about 9 years ago and was relatively pain free up until the last several weeks. When I would get pain prior to that it usually could be attributed to not eating the right food or being late on a meal. In these instances I would get intense pain in the gall bladder area. Within a couple of minutes of eating the pain would go away. I would have to eat something with fat in it to make it go away. If I eat a salad for lunch, by mid afternoon I need to eat a candy bar to get rid of the pain. We keep a good supply of Chocolate in the house for medicinal purposes, it works for me. I read the letter yesterday about the seminar a Dr. put on. In there it was stated that she put her patients on a vegetarian diet. If I did that I would be in extreme pain constantly. From my standpoint I would have serious questions about her methods. What she is proposing and what I know what works for me is in totally opposite directions. My Dr. is aware of this and tells me to do what works. When there is pain there is further damage taking place, so what ever works do it.
