?Electrical Stim / Ice Not Good for Lyme Patient?

Hello,

My wife has Lyme, and now needs physical therapy after a recent minor car

accident (whip lash).

Dr. Burrascano states on p32 of his Lyme Disease treatment guidelines:

" ....physical therapy...... DO NOT use ice or electrical stim unless

specifically ordered by our office. "

After years of following this Forum, and reading numerous books and articles on

Lyme Disease, and attending dozens of Support Group meetings, and attending

several national and local Lyme conferences, this constaint never came up to be

followed!

Have any of you with Lyme ever experienced being told by a doctor or

practitioner to follow this constraint?

Ice and electrical stim are two of the most effective treatments in physical

therapy, and are routinely used.

Many thanks,

Adam
