RE: Synesthesia- What about 4s and the NIH?

Who knows what knowledge they might learn about the brain by studying 4s?The NIH had expressed interest in a study on 4s. Dr. Carmen Brewer whose email is soundsensitivity@... is the contact there. Perhaps some newcomers would like to send a letter with brief history encouraging the study or even better a letter from your Doctor. It pisses me off that money is being spent to study Synesthesia ( I keep seeing results articles about it) and none is being spent to study 4S.

Synesthesia does not cause the persons afflicted with it any problems, pain or misery. No drug is needed and there is not money to be made (drug development).

It is being study purely for knowledge of how the brain works.

I am certain that if anyone every did an unbiased scientific study of 4s they would also make discoveries about brain function. Plus maybe someone who is actually suffering would benefit !
