Heidi,

I agree with you completely. I have never seen green pus where it was normal.

As far as I know, it always means infection. I might get a second opinion on

that. It does not sound right to me!

I also agree. Green pus from anywhere in the body is a sign of infection.

Sounds like a good round of antibiotics is in order here. The Bartholins

glands when infected will usually have some kind of discharge. I'd see

someone else if you don't get any satisfaction from your current doctor!

My heart bleeds when I read your story. I'm so sorry that you have

been, and are still going through, so much.

I cannot believe that the doctors are not doing more for your Bartholin

infection. I'm quite sure that green pus cannot possibly be normal! As

IF!! Maybe a good cry in front of the doctor would help at least a

little? Sometimes even the most stoic physicians can't resist the tears

of a desperate woman. It sounds like you need an antibiotic to help you

fight this nasty and painful infection. Beckie, - what do you

gals think?

Ya know - sometimes I'm very tempted to grab the penises (God forgive

me!) of these uncaring male doctors and yank until they scream and say

" NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION - what can you do to help me with my

pain?! " Of course, I'd probably end up in jail if I did that - but

sometimes it helps just to fantasize about it. I don't know what I

could do to the uncaring female physician though - any ideas?

Of course - all the stress in our life does not help our pain and it

becomes a viscious (sp?) cycle. I think it's really important that we

do what we can to break this cycle by eliminating as much stress in our

lives as we can. Maybe you can have a home health aid to assist your

mum rather than be solely responsible? Can you set up an appointment

with a counselor? Sounds like you need to work through some stuff from

your past, too. I can totally empathize!

Anyway - please take care of yourself and hang in there. We're all here

for you!!

Warmly,

Heidi
