Guest guest
I don't know about 10s of 1000s of people - but I think there might definately be a market.... and there are some small presses that might be interested. For example, I've got a book " What Happened to You? " - writings by disabled women. It's published by New Press, a " major alternative to the large commercial publsihing house, univeristy presses. The Press is operated editorially in the public interest, rather than for private gain; it is committed to publishing in innovative ways works of educational, cultural, and community value that, despite their intelluctual merits might not be commercially viable. " All this from the publication page of the book. I do some (very) part-time editing for an on-demand publisher (you have to get 200 copies pre-sold to use them and have a marketing plan for the rest) - but I'd be happy to edit the chapters and pull it together to a viable manuscript, if there's enough interest to take on this project. Who could do the marketing, or submitting to a publisher? Nina, there's no problem with printing in the UK, either.... > I personally think that is an ingenius idea about > the book, each of us writing a chapter.
