Guest guest
I mentioned some statistics earlier on obesity and overweight and I was wondering the difference. Here's what I found: Overweight: A person with a BMI of 25 to 29.99, or, who is between 25- 30 lbs. over the recommended weight for a person's height. Obese: The condition of being considerably overweight refers to a person with a BMI of 30 or greater, or, who is at least 30 lbs. over the recommended weight for a person's height If you want to look at all sorts of obesity trends statistics check out http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/obesity/trend/index.htm This site has data back to 1985 for the states. I found that in 1986 Missouri's population was less than 10% obese and it shows in 2001 between 20-24%. Andy
