Does he have keys to anything of yours, like your house or anything? Does he know where you live and work? Do you think he's capable of physical violence or a smear campaign? What do you think his purpose is? Has he done similar things in the past? And what have you thought about already? If he does have keys, I would strongly recommend changing the locks. Maybe with some more information we'll be better able to help you. I'm glad you " bumped " up this thread because this seems like a serious situation. I had to get a second phone number on the same line. it has a distinct ring. meanwhile old phone number 1 was hooked on to the answering macine. I gave everybody but him my new phone number which had voice mail features. That way i knew for sure it wasnt him calling because it was the new ring. I never answered the old ring. He would leave his nasty messages on the machine (which i recorded and took to the county DA along with nasty threatening emails.) I left the am and old phone connected for two months after i moved out. This worked for me and might help with you. keeping the old number open and a machine makes him feel " connected " with you, and you collect evidence of his theats. The only real way you can deal with a stalker legally is to get real evidence that he has threatened to kill you or a member of your family. Guest guest Posted April 16, 2007 Report Share Posted April 16, 2007 He doesn't have keys, but he does know where I live and work. He hasn't threatened me. He's more of a rejected suitor type of stalker. He just wants me to go to therapy to work it out with him. As much as I want to work this out, I know that really isn't possible and whatever I offer will never be enough. That's how the relationship went to. I could never do enough.
