Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm studying a masters in clinical psychology for which I have to complete a research project, which is like a miniture PhD. I thought that, since there is very little research in this area, I could focus on sound sensitivity/ hyperacusis/ phonophobia and hopefully produce a paper that is worthy of publication or that sparks some interest in the field. However, I am looking for your input as to what I can study as I only have access to first year subjects (very few of whom are likely to have this problem) or a population that I come up with myself. Does anyone have any idea on what aspect of this I could study? At the moment, I am thinking of a project regarding mindfulness and providing subjects with a home-based course in mindfulness over 6-8 weeks to see if this has an impact on their difficulties. Would this be the sort of thing you guys might be interested in? Does anyone have any other ideas? Your input would be very much appreciated! x
