Guest guest
Hi all! Since the issue was raised, I hope it's okay to post this. We are working on the shopping cart, so I didn't want to add the information on the equipment we have in stock until it's completed. We are an authorized My Weigh reseller and are carrying 4 of their scales at present to accomodate a range of needs and pricing. All MyWeigh scales carry a lifetime warranty in the U.S. Some information and links to those scales we carry follow: Generally, the greater the accuracy, the less you can weigh on a scale. The soaper's scale I carry weighs up to 13 lbs with 1 gram accuracy. The smaller scales weigh 2 ounces to 7 ounces, but have accuracy of 0.1 or 0.01 grams. All are priced very competitively with the primary internet scale vendors. If you already have a soaper's scale and want a primo scale for lotion crafting, I recommend the iBal 201. It has the greatest capacity (7 oz) and accuracy of 0.01 gram making it possible to create test batches of lotions that are small but extremely accurate. It's the one I use and I love it! That being said, the other 2 smaller scales were chosen for the products features and affordability, too. Prior to purchasing the iBal201 for myself, I used the equivalent of the 120Z for several years and it's still going strong. Here are links to the scales we stock and offer: We offer the Durascale at $74.95 and the 120Z at $24.95. They can be seen here (click on the scale model for complete info): http://www.myweigh.com/Pocketscales.html We also offer the iBal 201 for $98.00 and the KD600 for $49.90 (the AC adapter is $7.50) which can be seen here:: http://www.myweigh.com/mediumscales.html Calibration weight for all units is $2.25 (the i201 comes with a calibration weight). Please let me know if I can answer any questions on these scales for you. Guest guest
Good afternoon!, Can anyone suggest a good site that sells scales? I am wanting on to weigh as low as .1 gram thanks in advance Vickie ---- Just for comparison's sake, I got one from OldWillKnott on ebay on the advice of several fellow soapers. I paid $12 to ship an item that should have cost no more than $6, and the danged thing shuts off if you let it sit for a very small amt of time. It's a nice scale if you are fast. If you don't mind being frustrated while pouring oils or weighing items, then it's the scale for you Angie

Guest guest
I purchased my scale from Old Will also. I think it just depends on which scale you purchase (he has many). I love mine! The brand is My Weigh and it stays on for quite a while. I've never had it shut off while measuring (and believe me, I'm not that fast!! <g>). Angie, you might try plugging yours into the outlet to avoid that problem. They shut off automatically to reserve battery power. I'm too cheap to pay for batteries, we plug this one in It's the My Weigh LS 30 (see it here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem & category=50954 & item=5506675393 & tc=photo ) It's a great scale! I love it! My frustration comes when we are hot and heavy into pouring, and the thing shuts off from time to time. We were also using it to mix mold compound, you have to be pretty precise with the powdered catalyst, and POOF off it went... LOL It did arrive quickly, will say that! Angie C.
