Guest guest
I love dogs, have two myself, but when people let them outside to sit and bark all day and night it drives me nuts. I think it would drive a lot of people nuts, not just those with 4S. If the dogs are clearly being neglected, such as being left outside without shelter in cold rain then I would call and report it. If it's the barking that is the problem, you could always leave an anonymous note telling her that the dogs barking is becoming distracting to the neighbors and if she would mind stopping the dog from consistently barking. Or, talk to her face to face and tell her you wanted to be honest and discuss it with her rather than call the authorities. That way, she knows what's in store for her if she is a weeine about it. ha ha! I don't care if dogs bark... after all they are dogs. But when it's consistent, and during times when it should be quiet (middle of the night) then that is when I think you have every right to tell them to quiet the dog or call and report it. Good luck > > Hi all, > I wondered if anyone might have a suggestion. My neighbour has 2 lovely dogs. I don't know her very well at all but she leaves the dogs outside for long periods of time when it's totally inappropriate (in my opinion). For example, tonight it is pouring where I am and there have been temperatures of -7c. She has left her dogs outside and one of them keeps barking/ whining very loudly. This is causing me to be quite anxious. I'm assuming it's not just to do with 4S as I think dogs whining constantly could set anyone off and my mind is also racing with 'maybe I should phone the RSPCA...those poor dogs...that's so cruel' which is just making matters worse. Maybe I'm overreacting (in fact, I hope I'm overreacting and this is something that isn't so cruel after all but I can't stand the sound of things in pain, whether babies crying or dogs whining). > > I have tried to avoid using my pink noise or using headphones to listen to music but I think I'll have to in this case. I just don't want this to make matters worse >
Guest guest
I feel a bit bad for complaining now since a lot of your guys have suffered dogs barking worse than those next door to me! It only seemd to happen for a couple of hours a day but my main gripe is that she leaves the poor dogs in the freezing cold, rain or snow which is just cruel. It doesn't happen during the night thank goodness. I wrote an email to the RSPCA asking what would happen if I reported it. Funnily enough they have a section on their website about keeping dogs safe in winter. If they had a leaflet or something, I could happily pop that through their door but I just moved here so don't want to start a bad relationship with my neighbour by asking her not to leave her dog outside. > > > > Hi all, > > I wondered if anyone might have a suggestion.
