Yes, Propolis has been used in cosmetic items.

It certainly be used as a natural preservative. By itself, I don't think

Propolis will be an effective preservative.

Selling a Propolis preserved cosmtics without micro testing would be

irresponsible.

Hi there. I live in Canada and know of a lady who works with propolis. It

has a lot of great properties. I have tried lotions and they are very good.

Propolis is a natural resin that comes from trees. It is collected by

honey bees who remetabolise it and coat the inner wall of their hives. It

is then extracted by beekeepers. It contains flavanoids, vitamins and

minerals and organic acids. It also has antioxidant and anaesthetic

properties.

I have a whole bunch of literature on it. If you would like it let me know

and I will scan it and email it to you.
