Guest guest
I had questions asked of me the other day when I was trying to 'spread the word' a little and I didn't know the answer so it got me thinking and perhaps some of you knowledgeable people can help me. When did the GFCF diet first get recognised for autistic children? By recognised I mean when did the first decent numbers of children start to go on the diet and subsequently enzymes. The reason for asking is I that I wanted to know how old the oldest children are who have grown up with the new ideas compared to the old. I just wondered what differences have been observed towards adulthood if any?? Has anyone done a study? I don't know about the rest of you but I myself have recently questioned quite a lot of books because they quote certain 'facts' which since my son has been on the diet and enzymes seem to be totally wrong. Then I ask myself if I am in denial as a parent????
