OT: fiber to reduce herxing?

Hi all, I stumbled on this by accident, but it's really helping to keep my herxing down so I can keep going ahead with the coiling. I have had a lot of acne ever since getting off antibiotics a few months ago (I'm 25), and it seems to be from insulin/blood sugar. Even things like brown rice are enough carbs/insulin to set it off.

I read that taking glucomannan before meals can significantly reduce the blood sugar spikes of meals, so I started having it before meals. As a side benefit, my herxing has gone way, way down. I think the fiber is soaking up the toxins (as, for instance, Welchol would).

I also have Garden of Life Super Seed sometimes (fiber made from sprouted gluten-free grains) and triphala to keep the fiber moving. -
