Guest guest
Thought this was interesting - non-medical no-show charge. I've heard of hari salons, etc doing it. This was a car detailing business. Cost for a complete cleaning of your car (inside, outside, engine) was around $200-$300...so I can see how they would be irritated if someone no-showed or cancelled at the last minute. Kind of similar to a physical no-show. They were charging $60 -- kind of puts our $20-$30 charge for a no-show to shame. Locke, MD
Guest guest
, I have had this for years for the spa side. That very expensive laser, is useless to me, and unpaid for if the patient cancels. Then the room is idyl for an hour, and I'm still paying the Aesthetician her hourly wage. I charge $75 for a spa no show. They sign that right up front so they know, if you give me 24 hours, or you can prove your car died, etc. I will wave it.
