Guest guest
Dear vbrines I have used NADH for years, (long before I knew about Lyme), and it has helped enormously with brain fog, and physical, mental and emotional exhaustion. I would almost say that is has been a symptomatic cure of chronic fatigue -- in the sense of, taking NADH every morning has given me most of my life back, and has addded several functioning hours to every day. Without it, I can not get through a full day without resting/ sleeping in the afternoon; with it I am able to work, and even go out in the evenings sometimes. I am dependent on it -- so glad I discovered it , but so wish I didn't have to! I have tried both the Natrol NADH and the NOW brands from www.iherb.com -- both are good. NADH takes 6 weeks or so to load into cells -- provides cellular energy and some detox. I take 10mg every morning 30-40 mins before food. The benfits take 6 weeks to begin from the day you start taking it. Mine kicked in 6 weeks to the day -- when I suddenly found I could think better, and didn't need my afternoon sleep. Liberation! I have taken it almost every day since. I have never found anything as effective at clearing brain fog, and generally dealing with symptoms of chronic fatigue. Only thing to be careful of is that it builds into cells and provides cellular energy you might find it hard to get to sleep -- in which case reduce the dose, or cut it out for a day or two -- I find I can regulate sleep and energy by varying the dose if I need extra energy for a special event/task. Neuro Antitox didn't help me either -- and is expensive. NADH is much more affordable. be well, Debra Re: [lymestrategies] Non salt/c: ammonia detox Source Natural's K-Mag-Kg really sops up the ammonia in the brain (and probably elsewhere) and has helped me tremendously. Wouldn't be without a bottle in my arsenal of supplements. Be well, Léna Thanks for all of your responses to my general detox post. I have a couple questions about ammonia. I've been tested and found that I have high levels of ammonia in my body. I think that this is causing my brain exhaustion/crazy feelings and the hardcore fatigue. The research I've done about excess ammonia and glutamate in the brain matches up. I feel like my condition is worsening and I'm looking for a way to get rid of this excess ammonia. Have any of you ever dealt with this? Could this be causing irreversible damage?I know about the Neuro Antitox formulations and have tried it but it didn't seem to help.
