All of the therapist I have used are familiar with autism and incorporate SI as needed for the child's protocol. I am currently using Holistic Therapy Solutions. ( just like most places around here, they seem to have difficulty keeping one on board) If the child needs it throughout the day, they should mention that at the IEP. My daughters' both have a sensory diet incorporated throughout the school day. One daughter has velcro and a de stress ball at her desk, the other daughter chews certain goodies throughout the day ( gum, pretzels, etc.). She often is the door holder, book carrier, asked to hop or skip). We use this for vestibular and proprioceptive deficiencies.

Have you tried the Florida Elks society. If you do a search on the

internet you will get the 800 # for an application- then they will

set up a schedule and come to your house.

The O/T Lynn Ann that is working with my son is great. She handles

broward county.

but you have to apply thru the 800#.

Advanced Pediatric Systems has clinics in Margate at the corner of Sample and 441 in the PepperTree plaza and in Lake Worth in the ButtonWood Plaza at the corner of Jog and 10th Ave. North. The have therapists that can go to the private schools and home as well.
