Guest guest
I have a concern when to administer enzimes in relation to probiotics. I'm afraid if given together or very close in time they may digest the cellular wall of the bacteria and render it ineffective. Actually I am using a broad spectrum Enzime formula from Kirkman calles DPPV-IV with Isogest. Can anyone share some light on this? Thanks Bernardo

I've heard this concern a lot. If enzymes were effective in killing bacteria, then why don't they affect the overgrowth of bacteria in our kids' gut? I'm pretty skeptical that enzymes make a difference with probiotics. Dr. M says to give enzymes before the meal or with the first bite. Probiotics should be given mid meal.
