I am on MTX also, and RD said nothing, just told me to make sure I get a

flu shot!! Hmmm....

And ...you are a nurse, you KNOW you should get any rectal

bleeding accompanied with BAD cramping looked at. If they stop the pills

for a bit, I am sure they will find something else. They always do! You

have to take care of the " moment " and worry about tomorrow later.

If it were me, IMHO etc. etc I would call to see a doc!!

, I have bothe experience and information on Fiber Blend from the

Hallelujea diet. I have used the Fiber Blend for about 2 years and have had

excellent results. To ensure that I am not developing a dependency on the

Fiber Blend, I will go off for a period and check my regularity. So far, so

good. Message me with any specific questions or if you need phone numbers

and e-mail of where/how to purchase.

Gail! That is great news about Tara. Really Great!!! As she pulls to stand

her whole perspective will change!

As for being able to tell how high/low functioning your child will

be.....when you find a crystal ball, let me know! There's no way to know.

There are clues, but for me, I try to focus on what Eli is doing today, and

how great that is. It is hard though. Thinking of you and your standing up

girl!

You should be proud of me then. I had a client with the perfect case for

this recently, so I am doing a pro bono appeal designed to get the judges in

Ga. to make child support more equitable to custodial parents (generally

women), and also sent an email yesterday to Georgia Women's Political Caucus

and the Ga. Legislative Women's Caucus to try to lobby to get the law

changed in this regard. : )

But don;t be too hard on your own sex, there are some great dads out there,

some of them on this list (and some of them my custody clients. : )

Can someone out there please help me to understand tegretol. My daughter is on it and I am now very frightened after reading what Zoe said about the fact that it should be banded. I'm scared and don't want my daughter to die from this med. Can someone please respond. My doctor has given me no info on it and my child is still having seizures.

Thank You

We went off of it a while, and it was great for my son. Then, boom, back to seizures again? I am having the hardest time addressing this kid?

My daughter was on Tegratol on and off since age of two. It really did

not help control her complex-partial seizures as a single drug, little

bit better in conjuction with Vigabetrin/Sabril. She was always hungry on

it and gained weight. Last year we replaced it with Trileptil, kind of

tegratol with much less side effects. She is doing pretty good on it,

thou still not 100% control of seizures.

Hi Lynne,

Your son sounds much like my 6 yr old son, before the diet. And your panic

attacks sound like they may be food related. I get panic attacks when I

drink too much coffee or eat sugar.

You could try cutting out dairy, sugar and caffeine. It could be something

else, ofcourse. But if you start to feel better after a while, that would be

a good indication.

You could also try skipping that fase, and start on the enzymes immediately.

I'm not sure, but I think the Zoloft might be addictive, so you get

withdrawal symptoms. They are hard to deal with, I know. That's one of the

reasons why junkies have a hard time quitting their drugs. Stoppin makes you

feel very sick. Ask your doctor about this.

Good luck, take care,
