Guest guest
Pretty good article at... http://www.ama-assn.org/ama1/pub/upload/mm/472/faq-cms-incentive-program.pdf Of interest...can't do eRx AND EHR incentive program together. ========================== An eligible professional may not participate in both the Medicare e-prescribing incentive program and the new EHR incentive program specified in ARRA. To avoid penalties in 2011 and 2012, eligible professionals must report ePrescribing activity according to program details (see questions three and four) even if they participate in the new EHR incentive program. Also, it is important to note that eligible physicians can participate in the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) incentive program, formerly referred to as PQRI, even if they are taking advantage of the ePrescribing or EHR incentive programs. For more information about the PQRS incentive program and requirements, visit www.cms.hhs.gov/PQRI and CMS' brochure, " Medicare EHR Incentive Program, Physician Quality Reporting System and e-Prescribing Comparison, " which includes an incentive and penalty comparison table. ============================= Locke, MD 1 of 1 File(s) Medicare Incentive Programs - various.pdf
