Guest guest
PATRICIA: The MAST Environmental IgG Panel #15 test is structured to exhibit long term exposures to various fungi species, cockroaches, dust mites, and others. I am very interested in you low TSH and possible diagnosis of the type of thyroidism. Many women are experiencing this health condition and also toxic nodular goiter as a complication of it- including the three persons I have followed in my research of the progression of their disease. I would also be interested in knowing if your tests show high levels of Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) and Cytomegalovirus (CMV), IgG Subclass 1,2,3,4. Are you demonstrating any fatty liver activity or enlarged spleen? Please let me know. Also, thank you for your message re: . Doug Haney (Author: " Toxic Mold! Toxic Enemy! Guest guest
regarding your messzge dated 3-28-01 I have Stachybotrus in our home and my son and I both have been affected by CMV, he as a carrier and I as a " recipient " that required hospitalization for 10 days, I also had a liver biopsy relating to the CMV as my liver and spleen were so enlarged the doctors thought I might have Hodgekin's lymphoma. While I am not the person you intended to answer this email, I thought you might like to hear another anecdote. Guest guest
TRACIE: CMV is Cytomegalovirus Antibody Screen which is used to establish latency in blood leukocytes. It also can indicate asymptomatic (signs of the virus in persons displaying few or no symptoms)infection in (mainly) immune compromised persons. Detection in the blood serum, tissue, and/or bronchoalveolar lavage generally indicates systemic infection and disease. Many of the persons with suspected fungal-related illnesses believed caused by or connected with Environmental Fungi Contamination/Exposures are indicating a high level CMV test and a high level Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) test. These of course do not necessarily indicate illness due to fungal exposure, but it is interesting to note that medical research finds that various bacilli, fungi, and virus species in an " opportunistic " state can and do mimick certain illnesses in turning the body's own (DNA/RNA transfer)immune system against the self in sort of " faking the body out. " This is one of the indicators I use in suggesting that a person might want to have his/her doctor coordinate a MAST Environmental IgG test through Hitachi Chemical Diagnostics in determining the levels and types of fungi species that might be evident (Scientific American, Autoimmune Disease, Sept. Issue, 1993 Pg. 109). Again, I am not a doctor, I am a research writer specializing in environmental health texts and programs. Any medical problems should be addressed to a clinically certified practitioner. Doug Haney (Author: " Toxic Mold! Toxic Enemy!
