WJI'm fearful of what you mean when you say "settle up everything around me, and prepare for next." We all understand and feel your pain and hope there is something that can ease this for you. Please don't give you hope. We are hear to support you and help in anyway we all can, for each other. Some people have gotten relief through hypnosis, could that be an option? Or headphones? I'm very sorry it's been so hard for you.Heidi

I've been disturbed by sniffing noise more than 20 years, and it was a long and struggled life. I tried to solve this problem by meeting psychologists and audiologists in my country (South Korea) but no one even recognized what the matter is. It seems that the situation is hopeless...

The life with misophonia made fatal scars to my heart and mind, and also it stole my sociality. I cannot endure these terrible life any more, and now, I'll start to settle up everything around me, and prepare for next.

I am fully understand why van Gogh cut his own ears :)

Thanks, and I REALLY wish your good luck.

I have felt that way myself many times. Like I just can't take it anymore. Eating noises, coughing, dogs barking etc.etc etc. I still like life and for the most part want to just keep going, but it is hard. I can really understand how you feel. You are not alone.

I am very concerned about the tone of your email. Nothing is hopeless ever. You sound like an intelligent and sensitive person and have a lot to offer to the world in general. There are ways to get over misophonia. Have you tried white noise earbuds? How about hypnosis? There's probably more going on and you are probably depressed, which there is help for that too in medication and therapy. I myself have been depressed and had anxiety and have gotten over it. You can too. You can get over feeling this badly about misophonia, too.

Please answer this email. I do care about you.

This letter made my heart twist almost outta my sternum. I've peered over that edge twice. I know we can't stop you if you're really determined to let go, but I want you to know that I, personally, will miss you if you do. I know I don't know you, but I'll miss you. That's why I'm asking for a stay of execution. Please talk to us. Please talk to Dr. J. Her e-mail is Oregon7@... She can give you help and validation. If you really are determined, though, I'll whisper to the goddess and ask for your safe passage. But I don't want to do that. Please don't give up just yet. = M-F. > To: Soundsensitivity > Date: Sun, 5 Dec 2010 01:51:51 +0000> Subject: Thanks for listening to my words.> > I've been disturbed by sniffing noise more than 20 years, and it was a long and struggled life. WJ,

I'm just as worried as everyone on this thread. Correct me if I'm wrong, but

your e-mail makes it sound like you're contemplating something pretty drastic.

(Please, please let me be wrong about that!)

Nobody's arguing that it doesn't suck to live with 4S, but you're not alone! Any

time you feel like you can't take it anymore, come on this forum and tell us all

about it. I think most of us have felt completely hopeless at some point, but I

can tell you from experience: IT GETS BETTER! Even if you didn't believe it ever

could. We're all fighting back together, and we're making progress every day!

When a cure is finally found, you'd better be around to celebrate with the rest

of us!

Please, please reply to our messages and let us know that you're all right!

-Kate

WJ,

I agree with everyone else, it's difficult, but we all find ways to cope and find peace.

I hope you find some comfort om this group and the fact that several people have reached out to say they are concerned and they care. Many days have driven me to the point of looking for ways to end it yet I know that doesn;t solve anything. Please continue to reach out for help.

you are cared for and are part of a larger group that seeks to defeat this animal we live with. Will you help us fight this animal and find ways to give others relief from the pain we've endured?

I have hope in the peace and comfort of my Lord and the fact that heaven will be a place of peace and love without pain, yet I feel my job here is to leave this world with as much benefit as I can while I am here. Help us all make a difference, won't you?

you're important to us
