Guest guest
Good Morning Ya'll! How was your weekend? I am so excited that I got the current issue of Muscle Media. I have never been a runner and some of you folks who run 5Ks, etc. have inspired me but I didn't know how to start. In this issue is a five week beginner's running program. I will start that this week. I will do it in place of the 20MAS. It looks pretty challenging, at least for me. I also enjoyed the feature artcle on dumbell exercises. I have included more incline exercises this week as a result of reading that article. Yesterday I had an all day workshop and did not fit in my UBW. So today I will make up for that...about 5:00 p.m. Then, after my classes I will do the cardio and abs...about 9:45 p.m. I am thinking that will at least allow some recovery time so I am not doing too much in a short time. Today's Menu: M1 Vanilla SpiruTein Shake w/2% milk M2 2% CC, 3oz L & F yogurt M3 Chicken Noodle Soup (EFL) M4 Asian Stir Fry (EFL) M5 Cajun Chicken over steam spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes and WW penne pasta (EFL) M6 Strip Cheese and an apple (EFL) Boy am I enjoying these new recipes!!! Guest guest
Kelley, I've often felt that. I think a good hard run has your abs working " the way they were intended to " . I also find that my posture improves the more often I run... you can't suck wind when you are bent over. Bob > But...my abdominal wall has solidified and I think that is more from the running > than the abs routine. Is that possible? > Kelley > C6W11D2
