Guest guest Posted December 6, 2011 Report Share Posted December 6, 2011 Thanks everyone for the eye information...this dragon has really flared recently...now am facing the atttack on my corneas...i feel like i am facing a battle i can not win with this one..this is almost as scary as my onset 20 plus years ago when i was put in the intensive care unit for 4 months...sorry to complain. ..am a bit scared this time...my team of docs are talking about taking me off the tnf blockers which are the only meds that have ever kept me stable...not sure what to expect next from the dragon Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest guest Posted December 27, 2011 Report Share Posted December 27, 2011 Hope it’s ok to chime in on the fact that steroids do raise blood sugar levels and therefore the diabetes. I have also heard of them affecting our eyes. But there is another auto-immune disorder that can affect the cornea. This illness seems to come in multiples.
