Guest guest Posted September 2, 2003 Report Share Posted September 2, 2003 I made chili for dinner last night, and as far as I know, it was right in the plan (please let me know if not, I am new!!) This I ate for my meal with protien, carb, and vegetable. Here is my simple recipe. 1 pd. lean ground beef, browned 2 large cans tomatoes, however you like (chunky, stewed, I like one of each) 2 cans kidney beans 2 cans pinto (or black beans are good too) onion, chopped seasoning to taste ( chili powder, salt pepper, whatever you like) Brown meat with onion, put i large pot, add cans tomatoes, then beans (rinsed) and seasoning.
