I also use All Free and Clear. I haven't noticed any difference from when

I was using Cheer Free (which my doc originally recommended) or even from

my previous scented detergent, for that matter!

Hi Sandi,

You have been on my mind and I was wondering how yesterday went.

Your new physician seems like he's on the ball. Now relax and try to let

nature takes it's course. Your body has really been through a rough time

not to mention your mind. Just don't give up hope and remember you will

probably have good and bad days, but hopefully you will start having more

better days.

I have a problem with constipation all the time. Drink plenty of water and

you could try Metamucil or Perdium. Also as you start feeling better and

can be more active this will help also. Roughage in your diet and fruits

and vegetables can help, but I don't know if you are staying on your special

diets.

Good Luck and God Bless,

I've used that, and I use Planet laundry soap (unscented), and no

fabric softeners. I always double-rinse anything that would come in contact

with the vulva (including bed sheets and towels). I haven't heard that

nuking undies really helps anything, but who knows! I also only use organic

cotton menstrual pads, and sometimes natural tampons, but not while treating

a yeast problem [the tampons]. I'm glad we have our own washing machine and

dryer! I'd hate to have to go to a laundromat and wonder what kind of

soap/softener residues are lurking in the machines.

My two cents! :)

The detergent I use is All Free Clear which is hypoallergenic. It has no dyes

or perfumes but perhaps I should be using Ivory. Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks Gail. I have to use the washer/dryer at my apt. complex and I do worry

about other people's scented things being left over. I can't double rinse, I

wish I could. If anyone out there is in my position, let me know what you do.

I use Cheer Free, no Downy etc. and I nuke the undies because I use a

washer/dryer used by the entire complex. I like the idea of double rinsing

sheets and undies. I never use " scented " anything. I wondered about the Planet

soap. I'll check it out. Although I like Cheer Free. Lainey

Hi!

I do use tampons as my doctor has said pads and pantiliners do not let

that area to breath creating a warm moist area that yeast thrive in.

I use seventh generation laundry detergent. It says no petro chemicals and

the clothes even feel different. Put a little bit of vinegar in your rinse

water. That helps get the soap out.

Hi everyone,

I took the disipramine for 2 nights in a row and the same thing happened. I

woke up 2 hours later all sweaty and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night.

I thought it was supposed to make me sleepy. I am only taking 10 mg but I am

very sensitive to the side effects of tricyclics.

I also started taking depakote at the same time but don't think that is my

problem since I have taken it before. I am weaning off of the neurontin also

and have been taking that at night. You would think I would sleep like a rock

with all those drugs.

Has anyone had any sleep problems with these drugs? Perhaps it is the

interaction of all the drugs?

Thanks

Sandi

When I was on Doxepin or the other name is Sinequan, I ended up with insomina.

I got very hyper at night as well. I know Darlene does very well on it and yet

I can't seem to handle any of the anti dep. Doxepin was the one that really

kept me up at night and the next day I felt so drugged. So you're not alone!

I agree with you Darlene. I can't use bleach and Ivory does have a scent to

it so I never go near it. I use Cheer Free with no dyes, no perfumes and no

smells. I also never use softeners. I agree it doesn't " cure " us, but it sure

makes things worse when you do use them. Gosh, sometimes just going into a

laundry room filled with others using Tide about does me in. Lainey

Thanks Jeannette, I'm so glad Doxopin works for you. However, I was on it for

over 5 yrs and took it at night. It didn't ever make me sleepy, in fact,

quite the opposite. Everyone is different and I was one of them that couldn't

get the benefits. Too bad as I know it's a great drug. Glad you are

tolerating it! Lainey
