Guest guest
Hi, I have a perplexing visual stim issue with my son and I hoping someone can offer some insight. Around the age of 2.2 he started wiggling his fingers in front of his eyes. It started ever so slowly, almost imperceptible, waxed and waned over the next 1.5 years. I see it as some visual self-regulation issue combined with something going on with his eyes. He does it more when indoors and more when alone. He had all his vaccinations + 2 travel vaccine-sets until age 3 I have tried giving him Vit A thrice over the last 8 months. Every time I gave VitA that particular stim hit the roof, I had to stop VitA and the issue came dwon. Finally I discovered enzymes and learned how fat-soluble vitamins can pose assimilation problems for some children. Now I am attempting Vit A again, with enzymes. He is very low on VitA and VitE. I am using one drop of Klaire micellized Vit A with Lypo, an enzyme with high lipase. The stim has increased but is not as bad as before. But it is HIGH. What do I do? I don't want to stop VitA, he really needs it. I slowly increased the dose to one drop - one drop is 100% of US-RDA. Also the micellized Vit A is suspended in a base of Grape Seed Extract- he tested level 3 for Grapefruit in food sensitivity. But somehow I don't think that is particularly playing a role. How can I help him process the VitA better? Do I give it time? Am I messing things more? Thanks, Smita
