Guest guest
Just to let all you candle lovers know, I travel once or twice a year from Ontario to go shopping in Buffalo and always make Yankee candle my first stop. I love their scents; pumpkin and Macintosh apple are my favourites. Debbie Re: Candle Curiosity >I was walking through a mall here in ohio today, and seen a Yankee Candle >store. Guest guest
Sounds intriguing!! I wonder which month it is offered as scent of the month? Does anyone know if Yankee candle puts out a flyer or catalogue with a list of their monthly scents? Debbie (sorry for being off the PSC topic) Re: Candle Curiosity >> >> >>>I was walking through a mall here in ohio today, and seen a Yankee Candle >>>store. Guest guest
I'm in Wisconsin and they're available here. Did someone say they aren't available through out the U.S.? I thought Yankee was one of the bigger Candle Manufacturers - but then I would think that because I can get them here...and I do - all the time:-)\ Re: Candle Curiosity > Yes you can find them in Baltimore. Guest guest
Hi. I've been to the Yankee Candle Factory. It is awesome!!! They have every fragrance known to man and then some. They show you how they use to make candles in the " olden days " . The " store " features a night in Germany with twinkling stars and falling snow. You then walk through a castle and on to Santa's workshop where he is busy with his elves all year long. There also is a car museum attached to the building. It's located in Deerfield, Massachusetts. It's a lot of fun to go and get tons and tons of candles. Carole Re: Candle Curiosity >Yes you can find them in Baltimore. I never thought about them only being >available on the North east coast. Guest guest
Yankee Candle was bought out a couple of years ago by New England Candle Company, but they are keeping the Yankee Candle name because it is so recognizable. The new owners have put stores all across the country. Carole Re: Candle Curiosity >Yes you can find them in Baltimore. I never thought about them only being >available on the North east coast. Guest guest
Carole, I checked out the website and there really is TONS of stores all accross the country!! But the factory tour sounds fabulous. I really think I'm going to have to think about making a trip out east one of these days. I could visit the candle factory and hopefully hook up with a bunch of PSC friends too!! I don't know what finances will turn up, but wouldn't it be fun to plan our " conference " in MA and hold a candlelit, hugging and hand-holding, prayer (or best wishes and thoughts) session. I have no idea what's realistic for me but someday I do hope that I can meet some of you. **************************************************************************** ** Original Message from Carole > Hi.
