This is my memory because I did a quickie search on gfcfdiet site and

did not find it. Vanilla is made from a bean, so gf. Vanillin is

artificial. It can be made from a gluten product. If you look at the

label of vanillin at your grocery store, or vanilla extract, it will

have a grain or alcohol base listed, I think 35%. That is generally

barley, which contains gluten.
