Guest guest
Hi , There is a really good book, The drug maybe your problem;how and why to stop taking psy drugs. You can get from your library. It talks about the damge that psych drugs can do. And, it talks alot about antipsychotics including zyprexa. Good luck with your taper. --- from land wrote: > Hi. The vast majority of people do not get Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS) and MOST people suffer from a flu-like syndrome from reducing ANY psychotropic drug. This is a rebound of the cholinergic nervous system, not NMS. NMS occurs during the initial stages of treatment. Virtually all cases occur within the first 30 days of treatment. If it doesn't happen then, it won't, unless a new drug is added. Regarding TD, if you've made it this far without it, the chances of getting it as you decrease the drug are slim to none. I don't care what you choose to believe, , despite how many times we've tried to reason with you. However, you MAY NOT make other people on this list paranoid about thee things that are not a concern under the conditions cited. I would urge people to research these things and not accept the word of others, especially those who seem frightened. , perhaps if you bothered to get the facts, you would not be in the constant state of fear you are in which complicates your recovery. I am removing this post from the list.
Guest guest
Hi from land If you Google - zyprexa - adverse side effects - you will be shocked to find the side effects associated with this drug (coma, death) as well as the law suits filed. I investigate every drug in this manner that a doctor wants to give any member of my family and I was able to stop my dad from getting a second dose of Zyprexa by throwing a hissy-fit! The front of his chart in two-inch letters stated after my hissy-fit, "ALLERGIC TO ZYPREXA." Good luck with your tapering - go slowly and carefully. Stay informed and stay healthy! The scary truth is I feel so "normal" on this drug. But then I don't know what normal is anymore. > >Thanks, > > >__________________________________________________ >
