Guest guest
> Have any of you made " Triple Milled Soap " that I seen advertised everywhere I turn? I have seen Triple Milled and Hand Milled are they same? We make soap that is twice triple milled, this is then plodded through a vaccum chamber, extruded and pressed into bars. The soap has already gone through the saponification process.Triple milled soap will tend to be harder and longer lasting than a home made bar, and will contain ca. 10% water as opposed to ca. 20% in hand made. Will also contain around 0 - 1% glycerine instead of the 3-4% in home made soaps. I'm assuming that hand milled soap is ready made soap thats then milled with a hand miller then pressed into bars. The milling gets rid of hard bits of soap that could cause grittiness in the final bar.
