Guest guest
Lithium orotate is the thing that works.. Once, I ran out of L.O and substituted Lithium aspartate. I t did nothing and I later learned from someone in the group that it just doesn't work the same. L.O is one of my daily supplements and it has helped the Lyme depression a lot. That, and the traditional Chinese medicine, An Shen Bu Xin Wan (reliable brands: Min Shan, Plum Blossom, or Beijing Tong Ren Tang) really restored me to my former spirit and soul. Lyme depression was hi-jacking my being and putting me in a very scary place.I have tried L-tryphophen for my depression but it is not helping enough. My lyme is really bad as my entire body is tremoring inside and its driving me crazy. Has anyone tried lithium aspartate or lithium orotte for their depression? Swansons health products carried a lithium product but wanted to see if anyone is using it with good results.

Guest guest
Priority One makes a really good Lithium Orotate. I take it every day and would not be without it. Here in Alaska, two things really help the depression. Lithium Orotate and an Apollo SAD light. I also use a vitamin D lamp that also seems to give me a little boost. > > I have tried L-tryphophen for my depression but it is not helping > enough. Guest guest
Hi Debra, I agree with Tamara about the Marshall Protocol, I consider it dangerous to eliminate Vit D3..... You won't have any issues here talking about taking Vit D3!! It is one of the most important vitamins we need, whether we get it from the sun or from vitamins!! I peronally take 3,000 IU daily unless I spend 1/2 hour in the sun and thus getting my D3..... Jim > > > > > > I have tried L-tryphophen for my depression but it is not helping > > > enough. Guest guest
Hi Debra, I think its super important to take whatever steps necessary for you to feel well. I know how hard it is to be a parent when you are sick and/or depressed. My children were 4 and 6 when I got ill and I really had nothing to offer them for a couple of years. I simply wasn't there. Mind or body. I was just circling the drain. One of my many symptoms was loss of cognitive function. I remembered nothing and often would mid sentence lost track. I almost gave up talking altogether as I was becoming more stupid by the day. It comes back. The brain can heal itself. Don't think the worst. You will get better.
